The four of us went to the Royal Gorge. This is John in front of his West Virginia flag and the Arkansas River is below. We had just spent the morning water rafting down that same river.
The next day we went with family to a dinner show at the Flying W Ranch. The Grandchildren looked like they had never experienced such a western Hoe Down. The cowboy theme, the western music and beans made it a real new experience for them.
We also did some hiking and climbing around the Garden of the Gods. Uncle Ray took them on some real great climbs.
See the eagle that is created by the Indian dancer's shadow.... We also went to the Manitou Cliff Dwelling and let me tell you, the grandchildren really loved climbing all around the rooms. We hated to send them back home on the 12.
