Seashore part of Apostle Islands

Part of the Apostle Island National Seashore is the 22 Apostle Islands and the other part is the 12 mile lake shore. At one end of the lake shore is Little Sand Bay with a real nice campground and at the other end is Meyers Beach with a hiking trail to the Sea Caves and then out to Sandy Point.

The hike is thru the forest and it had rained the day before so it was pretty muddy. The sea caves were great from what we could see….though I wished I was on a kayak. Meyers Beach was unbelievably gorgeous and romantic. Right out of Hawaii…..only John would add…. “but colder”.
